Biography:

Wanyang Dai is a Distinguished Professor in Mathematics School of Nanjing University, Chief Scientist at Su Xia Control Technology, President and CEO of U.S. based (blochchain and quantum computing) SIR Forum (Industial 6.0 Forum), a Special Guest Expert in Jiangsu FinTech Research Center, President of Jiangsu Probability & Statistics Society, Chairman of Jiangsu Big Data-Blockchain and Smart Information Special Committee, where his research includes stochastic processes related big model and quantum computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, optimization and optimal control, admission/scheduling/routing protocols and performance analysis/optimization for various projects in BigData-Blockchain oriented quantum-cloud computing and the next generation of wireless and wireline communication systems, forward/backward stochastic (ordinary/partial) differential equations and their applications to queueing systems, stochastic differential games, communication networks, Internet of Things, financial engineering, energy and power engineering, etc. His "influential" achievements are published in "big name" journals including Journal of Applied Statistics, Probability in the Engineering and Informational Sciences, Quantum Information Processing, Operational Research, Operations Research, Computers & Mathematics with Applications, Communications in Mathematical Sciences, Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, Queueing Systems, Mathematical and Computer Modeling of Dynamical Systems, etc. His researches are awarded as outstanding papers by various academic societies, e.g., IEEE Top Conference Series, etc..

Prof. Gyu Myoung Lee (IEEE Senior Member)

Liverpool John Moores University, UK

Biography:

Gyu Myoung Lee joined the Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), UK in 2014, as Senior Lecture in the department of Computer Science and was promoted to a Reader in 2017 and a Professor in 2020. He is also with KAIST Institute for IT convergence, Daejeon, Rep. of Korea, as an Adjunct Professor from 2012.Before joining the LJMU, he worked with the Institut Mines-Telecom, Telecom SudParis from 2008. Until 2012, he was invited to work with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Rep. of Korea. He worked as a research professor in KAIST, Rep. of Korea and as a guest researcher in National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA, in 2007. He worked as a visiting researcher in the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2002. Furthermore, he also has work experiences in industries in Rep. of Korea.His research interests include Internet of Things, digital twin, computational trust, knowledge centric networking and services considering all vertical services, Smart Grid, energy saving networks, cloud-based big data analytics platform and multimedia networking and services.Prof. Lee has been actively participating in standardization meetings including ITU-T SG 13 (Future networks and cloud) and SG20 (IoT and smart cities and communities), IETF and oneM2M, etc., and currently serves as a Working Party chair and the Rapporteur of Q16/13 (Knowledge centric trustworthy networking and services) and Q4/20 (e/Smart services, applications and supporting platforms) in ITU-T. He is the Vice-Chair of ITU-T FG-AN and FG-AI4A as well as the Convenor of CG-AIoT. He was also the chair of ITU-T Focus Group on Data Processing and Management (FG-DPM) to support IoT and smart cities & communities. He has contributed more than 450 proposals for standards and published more than 190 papers in academic journals and conferences. He received several Best Paper Awards in international and domestic conferences and served as a reviewer of IEEE journals/conference papers and an organizer/member of committee of international conferences. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.

Prof. Xiaolin Xu

Nanjing University, China

Biography:

Dr. Xiaolin Xu is a professor and PhD supervisor at the Business School of Nanjing University, and the Director of the Case Center. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Nanjing University in 1999, a Master's degree in Economics in 2002, and a PhD in Systems Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006. He previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and as a part-time researcher at the University of New South Wales in Australia. In 2012, he was selected for Harvard University's "Global Case Teaching Training" program, and in 2014, he participated in the sixth session of the "National Training Program for Returned Overseas Scholars."He is currently a communication and evaluation expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Hong Kong RGC, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Management Case Study Committee of the China Management Modernization Research Association, a member of the Economic and Management Systems Branch of the Chinese Automation Society, a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Systems Engineering Society, a council member of the Financial Engineering and Risk Management Branch of the Chinese Operational Research Society, and a humanities and social sciences expert member of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of Overseas Chinese Experts.He has published several papers in internationally renowned journals, including Production and Operations Management and European Journal of Operational Research, and serves as a reviewer for international journals such as Operations Research. He has led three general projects and one youth project from the National Natural Science Foundation, as well as one youth humanities team project at Nanjing University. He has developed multiple MBA case studies, one of which on "cold chain" has been included in the national selection of "One Hundred Outstanding Management Cases."

Assoc. Prof. Yilun Shang

University of Northumbria, UK

Biography:

Dr. Yilun Shang is currently an Associate Professor in Computer and Information Sciences at Northumbria. Prior to this, he served as an Associate Professor at Tongji University, leading the Complex Network group in the School of Mathematical Sciences for four years (2014-2018). Before that, he held various postdoctoral appointments at the Institute for Cyber Security and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio, the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, and the Einstein Institute of Mathematics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2010-2014). In 2017, he visited the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Essex as a short-stay Essex International Visiting Fellow. He received his PhD degree in Applied Mathematics in 2010 and his BSc degree in Mathematics in 2005, both from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was awarded the 2016 Dimitrie Pompeiu Prize from the Romanian Academy in recognition of his work in network synchronization and presented a 15-minute short communication at the 2018 International Congress of Mathematicians in Rio de Janeiro under the auspices of Open Arms Grants.

Biography:

Dr. Syed Ali Mardan Azmi is born in Pakistan and completed his doctoral degree in 2018, from Department of Mathematics, University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. The main areas of his research interest are Computational Methods for Partial Differential Equations, General Relativity and Modified Theories of Gravity with major focus on Compact Objects. He has many research papers published in well reputed peer reviewed journals including Nature indexed publications. He is working on a permanent teaching position in Department of Mathematics, University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan since 2012 with two years prior teaching experience of college education. He is an approved supervisor from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. He has successfully supervised many MS and PhD students.

Nanjing University, China

Biography:

Dong Yiran, Ph.D. in Management, is the Executive Deputy Director of the Social Business Research Center at Nanjing University and an Associate Professor of Marketing. He is an expert member of the New Consumption Research Committee of the China WTO Research Association, a special researcher at the Brand Research Institute of China Listed Companies under the Daily Economic News, and an editorial board member of the Blue Book on Brand Value of China Listed Companies. He is also a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation and serves as the Honorary President of the Singapore Social E-Commerce Association. He has visited and given lectures at Fontys University in the Netherlands, the University of Missouri-St. Louis in the United States, Appalachian State University in the United States, and Soochow University in Taiwan. With extensive experience in market research and marketing consulting, he has worked part-time for several multinational market research organizations and has led or participated in nearly one hundred market research and consulting projects. He has published over 30 papers and authored 8 books (including co-authored works).

Assoc. Prof. Shuguang Li

Dalian Maritime University, China

Biography:

Li Shuguang, Ph.D., associate professor at Dalian Maritime University, master supervisor, and a member of the Computer Mathematics Committee of the Chinese Mathematical Society. He graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University. He is mainly engaged in research on computational mathematics, non-Newtonian seepage mechanics, and multi-scale modeling. He was selected into the "Professional Talent Training Program for Russia" and "Dalian High-Level Talent Introduction" He has presided over 1 postdoctoral project, 1 Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, and 1 Liaoning Provincial Department of Education basic scientific research project. He has published more than 20 SCI articles and been cited more than 220 times.
